WHAT IS AN LED UV RETROFIT?
This LED curing power begins at the core via the chip array. Our LED UV Retrofit partners AMS Spectral UV have now released their most powerful chip yet to deliver the most complete curing system yet.
This rugged big chip COB array is available for high power UV LED curing. Unlike conventional flood-style LED packages, NS chips are tightly packed into a solid "line of light", that when combined with AMS Spectral UV's patented Peak Optics™, create the highest collimated intensities available at any working distance via a single optic.
The chip is available in two core power options: 32 and 42 W/cm2, and has been designed for extreme durability and ease of maintenance. The NS Series LED Chip Arrays are the answer for today's most demanding curing applications.

What sets the NS chip apart from the rest is that these “big” chips are built with resilient components, and each chip is serialized, identified and tracked. While, the semiconductor components are sealed, which allows the chips to work in a variety of rugged environments.
Additionally, integrated circuits incorporated into the design electronically protect the LEDs and the entire system. The NS Chip arrays are designed to meet CE, CSA C22.2, UL 60950 and IEC 60950 compliance for safety and security.
