GEW UV systems are managed through a user-friendly industrial touchscreen, where users can adjust settings and issue commands. These controls, along with machine signals that are either hardwired or electronically transmitted, connect to GEW’s RHINO power units, which are compatible with a wide range of industrial interfaces—from basic relay systems to web-based APIs.
The HMI touchscreen allows for straightforward control of up to 16 lamps and is tailored to each machine's setup. It also integrates optional features like UV monitoring and inert gas chambers, and can be mounted as needed around the press or directly on the machine panel.
Industry 4.0 / IoT-Ready Technology
The RHINO system is internet-connected, sending encrypted performance data to GEW for continuous 24/7 monitoring. This enables fast, precise service and proactive maintenance that identifies potential issues before they impact production.
Customers receive monthly performance reports via email, detailing energy usage and uptime for more accurate tracking of press productivity.
